PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

LINCOLN TRUST COMPANY -- Englewood, Colorado - 1992 to Present Vice President of Administration and Client Services 1997 to Present Reported directly to the President of a company with over $4 billion in assets under administration and over 70,000 accounts. Contributed to company profitability by successfully overseeing different departments in a constantly changing environment. Areas of responsibility included: client services, marketing, support services (mail room, file room, etc.), facilities, income processing, research team. · Responsible for numerous profit and loss sectors within Lincoln Trust. Both revenue and expense budgets have consistently been within 2% to 3% of estimates under my direction. These consistently accurate budgets plus additional budget reports I created were especially important for our parent company Fiserv given their desire to provide their shareholders with accurate information. · Led the team responsible for conversion of data to a new computer system. Challenges included identifying data to convert, how to convert it and managing a team of individuals from three different companies for project success. Negotiated a 56% discount on the deconversion software needed to convert data off of the current system. Success of the project meant reduced expenses for Lincoln Trust plus enhanced customer service for our clients. · Directed and organized the new furniture / construction project. The $700,000 project required the comparing of different lines of cubicle furniture and the buildout of new space. Negotiated a $10,000 discount over and above the 72% discount attained on the furniture. Organized the scheduling of furniture delivery and construction. The project, directed to reduce disruption of employees, greatly increased morale of the employees. The entire project came in 5% under budget and on time. · Oversaw the committee responsible for creating contingency plans for the company. This included doing a live test of the plan for validation. This helped meet requirements placed on us by the FDIC. · Led a committee to create a "map" of document types at Lincoln Trust for an optical imaging system. The purpose was to organize these documents into classes and then have them scanned for easy retrieval. The research conducted by the committee led to the conclusion that the project was cost justified at the time. · Manage employee turnover of 30% to 40% per year. Cross-trained employees to cover all functions, created a "stay bonus program" and instituted flex hours. · Increased the target accounts by 10% to 20% per year over the last 3 years. · Developed and presentated numerous presentations to LTC employees. Motivated one employee to join the Marketing Department based on a recent presentation. · Presented at numerous conferences and met with prospective clients - gave a presentation to brokers on LTC products.
